Over 90 products were nominated as the leading modern design icons coming from more than 20 different Cambridge companies over the last 40 years. A panel of industry experts selected 20 final products to exhibit during February to the public and businesses at the Anglia Ruskin University. A diverse range of products from different industry sectors were shown, covering a timeline from the Sinclair pocket calculator to the Prestige traditional kettle. Wright Design Limited managed to get three products selected through to the final exhibition, which were the Prestige traditional kettle, Sepura Tetra police radio and Hayter Spirit lawnmower.
