Take part in the Cambridge Sport Relief Mile

Sport Relief's aim is to help disadvantaged people, both at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries, to turn their lives around. Our goal for 2012 is to raise £60,000.

The Cambridge Medical Centre is once again the proud organiser of the Sport Relief Cambridge Mile and this will take place on Sunday March 25th, 2012 at the Milton Country Park.

The last event in 2010 was a huge success - raising a whopping £31,807.26. Every single penny of it will be spent by Comic Relief to help disadvantaged people, both at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries, to turn their lives around. The goal for 2012 is to raise £60,000.

Joshua Wies of Cambridge Medical Centre says:"We will need lots of help to achieve this - please contact me at cambridgemedicalcentre@gmail.com if you would like to volunteer on the day as a marshal or you can click here to register for the event.

"Activities on the day include the main event - walk or run 1, 3 or 6 miles; a charity auction (please contact me if you would like to donate an item); beat the goalie with Cambridge United Football Club; family fun day; orienteering with the West Anglian Orienteering Club, and more.

"Please take part in this important event and help make Sport Relief 2012 the most successful Cambridge Mile yet!"
