It’s Trustees Week (6-10 November). We wanted to take this opportunity to celebrate the amazing work of our ‘It Takes A City’ Trustees. They bring a depth of knowledge about the homeless sector that is so valuable in all our discussions.
We value having Trustees with a range of skills including lived experience, knowledge of running an organisation and of other services in the city, knowledge of mental health provision locally, health and safety expertise, practical experience as a volunteer and so much more.
But most of all we value their vision and desire to see change in the city to end rough sleeping due to homelessness. Yes, there is a long way to go but a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step.
