Seasoned distance cyclist Hilary Laing, the Network's COO, (centre) was joined by team members (left to right) Andrea Mitchell, Sarah Gleadell, Claire Angus and Jonathan Brech.
Setting out from Pickett's Lock in north London, the team made good time riding through the countryside to the finish at Midsummer Common in the heart of Cambridge, where they were met by colleagues, friends and family for a celebratory picnic.
"All the training paid off," said Andrea, "And I really enjoyed it. The weather was kind too, which was a bonus!"
Claire, who set up a Justgiving page for the group, added. "It was a challenge for those of us who hadn't done this type of thing before, but it was great fun. And we're all delighted by the response so far to our appeal for funds for the breast cancer charity.
"But our Justgiving page is still open, so we hope that Cambridge Network members will continue to give generously to this very worthy cause."
