You are invited to ACT's Annual Lecture - 14th November

You are invited to join Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) for a popular annual event, where you can hear an update on ACT's recent achievements and plans for the future, as well as an informative lecture by renowned anaesthesiologist Professor David Menon, Head of Division of Anaesthesia at the University of Cambridge.

Stunned, shaken, sheared.... saved?  Optimising outcomes from brain injury

Traumatic brain injury can result in an enormous burden of lifelong disability. This lecture will discuss how well organised trauma systems and specialist multidisciplinary care can optimise outcomes from brain injury. It will also explore how research in Cambridge is increasing our understanding of brain function in this setting and providing new hope for improved outcomes.

The reception which follows gives the opportunity to socialise with like-minded supporters of our two great hospitals.
