The Red Hen Project
The Red Hen Project supports our community to raise happy, healthy, and independent children – working directly with families, promoting positive, confident parenting and cooperative relationships between schools and families.

Our vision is a welcoming community where families are supported and empowered to raise happy, healthy and independent children who in turn grow up to fulfil their lives and engage fully with society.
Hyper-local, and focusing on those that are experiencing challenges in their lives, the Red Hen Project has worked directly with families for more than 25 years, promoting positive, confident parenting and cooperative relationships between schools and families.
Our trusted team of highly skilled and experienced family workers supports children and families in their home, at school, and in the community.
Complementing and enhancing this intensive early intervention, we run a range of outreach group activities; drop-ins, parenting courses, workshops, family activities, trips, and volunteer opportunities.
