On April 11th, HCR Hewitsons, Magpas Air Ambulance and RunThrough officially launched the 2024 Chariots of Fire Race.
HCR Hewitsons has been running this popular relay for over 30 years, raising over £1.5million for charity. Runners will weave through the historic city centre and iconic University colleges, with each relay team member completing one loop of the 2 mile course before circling back.

This year RunThrough have partnered up with HCR Hewitsons Charitable Trust in support of Magpas Air Ambulance Charity to bring this event back to the town and surrounding area!
The Route - Chariots of Fire is a closed road relay around Cambridge city centre and through some of the University’s colleges. The route will start and finish on the Queens’ Green, and follow approximately a 2 mile route through Cambridge city centre, and through some of Cambridge University’s colleges, each person will complete 1 loop before handing over the baton to their next runner.
