This is an exciting time to join our team at Rutland Water as our Visitor Services Assistant!
As a member of our team you will work predominantly in our Birdwatching Centre at Egleton but on occasions be required to cover other park assistant duties to support our one team, one park, one experience ethos.
Our Visitor Services Assistants perform a very busy and varied role that will see you interacting with customers face to face, on the phone or via digital platforms. You will ensure that customer queries are answered quickly and efficiently and that visitors receive all the information they require to have an enjoyable visit.
You will sell products from both our tills and mobile till points ensuring all areas of the visitor centre are kept clean, tidy and welcoming for visitors. You will also assist on events, and will help ensure all customer journey processes are followed and well maintained.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in this customer facing role in order to deliver superb customer service in and around the site and to help promote the wider reputation of our Water Parks.
Flexibility is also key as you will be required to work weekends and shifts.

Support the park team to uphold and sustain park accreditations - e.g. Green Flag & VAQAS
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards in line with facility specifics
Provide assistance to all aspects of park facilities, operations & events
Uphold personal and park presentation standards.
Ensure correct operation of the till, retail systems and park technology
Assist with cash collections and movement of money around the parks.
