Jag Express joins the fundraising drive for Cambridge Children’s Hospital Campaign.

We at Jag Express are delighted to announce a corporate partnership with Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT). We are committed to giving back to the community and this cause is one that is close to our teams’ hearts. This collaboration will allow us both to enhance healthcare services to those who need it the most in our community and make a lasting difference in the lives of patients and their families.

Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust is the official charity for Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie Hospitals. Thanks to the kind support of its donors, the hospitals are able to provide a level of patient care beyond that which can be delivered by NHS funding alone, supporting high-tech equipment, specialist staff, extra patient comforts and vital research to find potential cures.

This support also makes projects happen sooner or to a greater degree than might have otherwise been possible.

“We are thrilled to partner with Jag Express Ltd,” said Joe Sagoe, Corporate Lead at Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust. “Their dedication to corporate social responsibility mirrors our own commitment to improving healthcare. With their support, we can accelerate our efforts to make our great hospitals even better.”

Jag Express will support the Cambridge Children’s Hospital Campaign (CCH), which is an innovative and ground-breaking project for our region and is urgently needed as the East of England is currently the only area of the UK without a dedicated children’s hospital.

CCH will be a world first – taking an entirely new approach to healthcare as the first fully integrated hospital to treat the whole child. It will provide treatment for both mental and physical health and will bring together leading research, treatment, and technology.

Serving 1.5 million children in the area, and connecting with the 16 existing regional hospitals, this new hospital will draw on telehealth technology to allow the ongoing treatment of children and young people within their own homes and school environment, with admission for only those children in critical need. It will bring physical and mental health expertise together under one roof, providing treatment that supports everything a child may be going through — whether it is visible or not.

Chris Mander, Jag Express General Manager, continued: “Throughout the partnership we will be working with the team at ACT to fulfil some exciting fundraising activities and initiatives. We are really looking forward to working with the Cambridge Children’s Hospital and will be looking to our amazing supporters (the Jag Express team and our clients) to help us make this partnership a massive success.”
