This position is responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
- Work closely with experienced Java developers, designers, analysts and testers to create, maintain and modify systems to meet the demands of the product roadmap.
- Collaborate to resolve problems by partnering on projects and processes
- Contribute to the team's success through execution of tasks of moderate complexity.
- Write clean, efficient, highly tested code, troubleshoot and debug issues with existing software, participate in code reviews and provide feedback and new ideas, ironing out the project requirements or planning on how to tackle challenges.
- Discover, research and learn new technologies to stay up to date with the latest trends in the industry.
- Look for new ways to improve processes and create efficiencies in area of execution
- Take initiative in own work and begins to look for opportunities to take on new projects
- Code, test (TDD) and troubleshoot programs utilising the appropriate hardware, database, and programming technology.
- Collaborate through scrum activities such as white-boarding, pair programming, backlog refinement and planning poker etc.
- Provide support in all phases of SDLC and ensure to deliver high-quality products.
- Work with other development teams to ensure overall solution meets requirements.
- Analyze and troubleshoot application issues in a timely fashion.
- Develop effective technical solutions to meet business requirements.
- Work with QA team in preparing test cases, plans and procedures.
- Occasional travel (Europe and US)
