We are seeking a Head of Academic Centres Administration to manage the Cambridge Better Future Programme.

The Programme

The Cambridge Better Futures Programme provides the tools to accomplished individuals from all sectors of business and life can unlock their full potential and forge a better future for society. The pilot programme commences in September 2025 and is available for participants as a 6 month or 12-month programme face to face in Cambridge, UK.

The programme convenes the power of Cambridge and equips accomplished individuals to create transformative change in the world. Whether participants ambition is to improve their local community or deliver something truly global, the Cambridge Better Futures Programme will help them define their vision and prepare to put it into action.

Purpose of the role

The Head of Academic Centres Administration, Better Futures Programme, oversees the comprehensive management, planning, execution, and delivery of the Better Futures Programme. This role involves leading a team of administrators to ensure the programme is delivered on time and within scope. The Head of Academic Centre Administration must adopt a flexible and professional approach to meet the learning and developmental needs of our participants and the varied requirements of key stakeholders. Reporting to the Director of Academic Centres, the Head of Academic Centres Administration, Better Futures will assume responsibility for developing and delivering the project plan to ensure the project keeps to the necessary milestones and key stages throughout.

The role holder must maintain excellent relationships with all our stakeholders ¿ this includes the wider BF team, participants, suppliers, College hosts, speakers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

The Head of Academic Centres Administration will assume responsibility for developing and delivering the project plan to ensure the project keeps to the necessary milestones and key stages throughout. The role holder must maintain excellent relationships with all our stakeholders ¿ this includes the wider BF team, participants, suppliers, College hosts, speakers and colleagues.

Skills and Attributes

You will have excellent communication skills; experience of working in a client facing environment, excellent project management skills. You will be able to work under pressure and to tight and multiple deadlines.

The role is offered on a fixed term basis initially for nine months, or as a secondment opportunity to Internal University candidates. Extensions would be subject to available funding.
