The University of Cambridge is one of the world's oldest universities and leading academic centres. If you're looking for a new challenge and would like excellent benefits, extensive learning opportunities and a stimulating working environment in return for your skills and contribution, there could be a job here for you.

Are you an experienced manager who is passionate about supporter engagement? Do you want to make a difference in a mission-driven organisation?

Cambridge University Development and Alumni Relations is the vibrant heart of alumni engagement and fundraising for the University. Our mission is to cultivate lifelong relationships between the University and its alumni and donors. We take pride in our responsibility to raise significant philanthropic gifts from alumni and supporters, to enable Cambridge to tackle some of the world's most pressing issues and to continue to deliver education, learning and research at the highest international levels of excellence.

As Head of Donor and Volunteer Relations, you will lead the team that strives to ensure that every giving experience to Cambridge is a joy and that supporters feel thanked, appreciated and recognised.

This new role will grow the team in order to bring supporter engagement to the next level, overseeing bespoke personalised and group events, reports, visits, thanking, communications and experiences for Cambridge's most generous donors and volunteers.

The ideal candidate will be a sought-after expert in donor relations, able to clearly position the mandate and value of supporter relations. You will have professional experience of high-performing supporter relations teams or fundraising in a fast-paced or complex environment and the credibility to engender trust at the highest levels.

You will have exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a dedicated team, as well as strong communication and relationship-building experience engaging with diverse stakeholders. If you have a strategic mindset and a passion for supporter engagement, we would love to hear from you.
