Are you looking for a new opportunity? Are you a Finance professional? If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team within the Cambridge University Libraries (CUL) as Management Accountant.

The Management Accountant is a newly created role which will work closely with the Head of Finance, the Finance Lead, and stakeholders at all levels across CUL.

You will be a joint deputy to the Head of Finance, alongside the Finance Lead, in the areas of financial strategy, financial governance and management. You will be responsible for developing financial strategy in line with the Libraries' and University's strategic priorities.

You will provide high level financial reporting and advice to aid the planning, implementation, and management of CUL finances. You will be adept at interpreting financial information and confident in presenting to both financial and non-financial contacts within a complex organisation, which spans 36 different sites and employs over 400 staff. In addition to being a highly organised individual, you will have expertise in financial and accounting practice, and considerable commercial and financial acumen.

The CUL Finance Team has a hands-on, pragmatic team culture, so a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get actively involved in the day-to-day operations as well as coaching and influencing others to continue to innovate and improve their financial processes is essential.
