What you'll do
As a New Manufacturing Technology Lead, you will support the delivery of the technology portfolio by utilizing your change, project, and program management expertise. You will drive innovation, structure ideas, and be open to new ways of working. Your role will involve coaching Technology Team Leaders (TTLs) and supporting New Technology Introduction Directors (NTIDs) to enable the delivery of benefits from the MTS project portfolio.
You will be accountable for program planning, portfolio management of projects, tracking associated budgets, resources, and risks. Proactively identifying risks and obstacles to manufacturing technology development is essential, as well as working within the manufacturing technology network to build a community that challenges, influences, and improves strategies, tactics, and plans.
Essential for the role:
- Master's degree or equivalent experience or equivalent qualification in relevant scientific subject area
- Extensive experience in Scientific Project Management within a pharmaceutical or clinical environment
- An experienced leader with a passion for technology and innovation
- Expertise in program/project management with a proven track record of execution and delivery of benefits
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve agreed objectives
- Expert in processes, systems, and tools crafted to support the development and implementation of new technologies at AstraZeneca
