The Medical Research Council Toxicology Unit is an internationally renowned institute focused on understanding molecular mechanisms underlying toxicity of medications and pollutants. You will provide high level editorial direction, contributing material for content across external and internal communication channels, and lead on the implementation of the Unit's Public Engagement strategy.

In addition to your exceptional communication, interpersonal and organisation skills, you will have an understanding of academic/research environments and hold a degree in a health related, biological, or other relevant area, ideally with an additional media/communications qualification. Experience in internal and external communications aimed at a diverse range of audiences is required together with a proven track record of developing communication strategies across digital channels. Experience with outreach events/activities is essential.

If shortlisted at stage one of the process, you will be asked to complete an activity which demonstrates your range of competencies. If successful you will be invited to the second stage of the process which is an interview.

Interviews are expected to take place on 18th November at our offices on Tennis Court Road, Cambridge.
