About the Role:

Working in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, Education and Social Sciences, the Research Assistant will support Prof Sean Campbell with a research project entitled ‘Popular Music and Diaspora: Irish migrants in twentieth-century Britain’. The Research Assistant will provide support in developing research outputs, completing funding bids and organising a conference.

 

We are seeking someone with a PhD in the field of post-war literary/cultural studies, and with expertise on migrant Irish popular music-making in late twentieth-century Britain. An understanding of this research area is essential for this role.
