About the Role:
Based in the School of Education sits within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities, Education and Social Sciences. We are a growing School with a diverse course portfolio, with postgraduate and undergraduate provision. Following our successful accreditation from the Department of Education, we have developed the first new BEd (Hons) Primary Education with QTS, in the sector for 30 years.
We’re looking to recruit a Senior Lecturer to our Initial Teacher Training team. You will bring experience of teaching (in primary schools and Higher Education), a passion for training the next generation of teachers, and a commitment to developing your own research portfolio. In this role you will teach on the BEd (Hons) Primary Education with Qualified Teacher Status course on our Chelmsford campus, you will be a mentor for ITT supporting school-based training and be involved in selection and recruitment activities. This is a great opportunity for a colleague who wants to develop their teaching and research in a supportive environment whilst being part of an exciting and busy ITT offer. This role will commence at the beginning of September 2025.
