Stores Assistant

The Role:

The Role holders will be responsible for assisting with store operations and ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers

Monitor delivery schedules for goods, check goods on arrival against delivery notes and orders, record deliveries, issue goods, maintain stock levels, update stock inventory information.

Liaise with suppliers and monitor stock levels, discuss prices, availability and delivery to ensure items are ordered at best terms available.

Please be aware that a Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role (a full EU Driving Licence is acceptable on appointment, but the successful applicant must transfer to a UK Licence prior to confirming a start date).

About you:

A Level standard including GCSE English and Maths/NVQ level 3 relevant qualification or equivalent level of practical experience

Good IT skills

Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of people internally and externally

Attention to detail

Good organisational skills

Demonstrable knowledge of facts, principles, processes and general concepts relating to stores
