ACT on Cancer 'Celebration of Life' concert takes place at Trinity College

Tickets are now available for a performance by Cambridge Baroque at Trinity College on Saturday 29 March. The event is in aid of ACT on Cancer - a campaign to transform cancer facilities, services and research at Addenbrooke's.

Cambridge Baroque, an exciting new vocal and instrumental ensemble, will be performing on Saturday 29 March 2014 at Trinity College Chapel in support of Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust's ACT on Cancer campaign, which aims to raise £10 million in three years to transform facilities, services and research for cancer patients at Addenbrooke's. 

The concert, entitled Celebration of Life, will include gems from baroque masters such as Monteverdi’s 'Beatus Vir' and Purcell’s 'My Beloved Spake'.

7.30pm-8.45pm

Monteverdi:   Beatus Vir

Purcell:           My Beloved Spake

Buxtehude:    Magnificat

Purcell:           Rejoice in the Lord alway

Bach:              Singet dem Herrn

To be interspersed with relevant readings, Celebrating Life and Spring Time.


Concert tickets are £25 each and are available via the ACT office on 01223 217757 or online

(NB.It is not possible to have numbered seating at the Chapel.)

  After the concert there will also be a reception of fine wines and canapés held in a private and exclusive venue within the college grounds, by kind permission of the Master of Trinity, Sir Greg Winter. Concert and reception tickets will be £85 each.
