Alimentum is awarded its first Michelin Star

Cambridge restaurant Alimentum has been awarded its first Michelin star. Its Chef Patron Mark Poynton comments, “It’s an absolutely fantastic title to achieve."

He continues: "A Michelin Star is the Holy Grail of the restaurant world and represents real recognition for the entire team here at Alimentum who have all worked incredibly hard to maintain exceptional standards at every service. We look forward to welcoming both regular and new customers to Alimentum.”

“Our restaurant has held three AA Rosettes since 2008. We recently came runners up in The Observer (Food Monthly) Awards 2012. We are also in the National Restaurant Awards Top 100 Restaurants in the UK as voted for by the chefs and critics. It’s safe to say we are now firmly imprinted on the British culinary map.”
