Cambridge Network website marks 22nd anniversary

It is exactly 22 years since the original Cambridge Network website went live (2 July 1998), when it led the way as one of the world's first sites to offer a user login and interface for increasing numbers of members.

Its longevity is testament to the organisation's agility, as it has evolved over the years to meet the changing needs of its diverse membership - and continues to adapt its services, especially in recent months, transferring physical events to virtual formats and providing valuable support to members during the pandemic.

Although the website has seen a number of iterations, with upgrades to design and functionality, it remains an important hub to promote and sustain both the vibrant Cambridge cluster and the Network's mission: to bring people together and encourage collaboration for shared success.

The site was archived by the British Library when it was 10 years old, in June 2008 - as in the screen shot of its home page shown above. See the archived version here>>>
