Chamber announces series of leadership and management courses for business women

Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce has announced a series of leadership and management courses for business women, being held in conjunction with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Beginning in September the three-part management course will help successful and aspiring businesswomen strengthen their leadership skills, become confident public speakers and learn how to develop and influence others. It has been designed for existing managers looking to build on their experience alongside developing managers eager to extend their skillset before taking their first step on the management ladder.

The three sessions can be attended as a series or in isolation and each is suitable for women with no previous leadership or management training.

After attending a previous session Jenny Leon, Learning Co-ordinator at Froglife, said: “These workshops came highly recommended by my Chief Executive who attended the first series last year and they did not disappoint. Each workshop was delivered by a dream team of trainers all with very different approaches and styles which meant there was someone to suit.  I found that these training workshops were not only great learning from the trainers but also from others who took part, in a fun relaxed and informal atmosphere and provided some great networking opportunities to boot!”
