CityFibre has been working hard within Peterborough over the last year to improve the city’s internet connectivity. Having installed 90km of pure fibre network around Peterborough since April last year, the installation of the Peterborough CORE internet network has provided the city’s businesses and public sector sites with furture-proof connectivity.
Speaking of the announcement John Bridge OBE DL, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “One of the Chambers’ most anticipated events, the comedy night offers a guaranteed evening of comedy as well as a great opportunity to reward staff or entertain clients. As with previous years the response from businesses has been positive with nearly all of the tickets now having sold. We are extremely thankful of the support from CityFibre and Peterborough CORE and are excited to be working with them on this event.”
Andy Starnes, City Development Manager at CityFibre, also added: “The support we've had from the business community during our installation of the Peterborough CORE network has been fantastic. They are as excited as we are to turn Peterborough into a Gigabit City with access to some of the fastest internet connectivity in the world. This is sure to be a great night and a good opportunity to get together for a good laugh in a great cause."
Chamber members including General and Medical, XL Scaffolding, Etchells Electrical, Belvoir Lettings Peterborough, Jefferson Sheard Architects, Peterborough Regional College, Lindum Peterborough, Moore Stephens and West Anglia Training Association will all be joining us for a night of laugh out loud comedy from the fantastic comedian Dean Courtney as well as a delicious three course meal and complimentary wine.
Due to the popularity of this year’s event there are only limited tickets left available. Please book your ticket early to avoid disappointment.
