Cleantech Venture Day 2020 – completely sold out

Cambridge Cleantech is delighted to announce that Cleantech Venture Day is now fully booked and ready to roll out on 11th-12th February.

Following its announcement of the 24 companies who will pitch to grow at their venture at Cleantech Venture Day, the pitching-and-investment event for climate-positive technology in London, Cambridge Cleantech can now happily confirm that the event next week is fully sold out.

Over a hundred delegates will be part of the exciting programme which revolves around the pitches of the most innovative new companies – their new technologies and solutions ranging from eco-friendly laundry and smart grid technology to zero carbon biophilic accommodation and clothes that grow.

Cleantech Venture Days have been taking place since 2006, running annually in London since 2017, organised by Cambridge Cleantech. Innovators and investors from around the world are taking part every year, resulting in more than 220 companies that have pitched their ideas and as much as 600 million euros having been invested as a result of the events.

With the growing urgency surrounding the climate emergency, there has never been a more crucial time to support climate-positive technologies and the sell-out of Cleantech Venture Day shows that there is a keen interest in cleantech investment throughout the UK and Europe. This year, Cambridge Cleantech is partnering with Choose Paris Region, KPMG, J A Kemp, Clean Growth UK, Hewitsons, Business Isle of Man, Oxfordshire Greentech and Kiss to make it a successful event.

Cleantech Venture Day will be held in KPMG’s beautiful and unique members club, Number Twenty in Mayfair, London. A pre-event for investors-only followed by a networking evening will also take place at the French Embassy in Kensington Palace Gardens, London.

“The sell-out of this event shows that there is a real appetite for developing and investing in the cleantech sector. In the wake of current global challenges, we hope that the Cleantech Venture Day will give innovators and investors the opportunity to make a lasting impact in the UK and worldwide.” said Martin Garratt, CEO of Cambridge Cleantech.
