Following the success of its previous virtual recruitment events this year, Cambridge Network is back with another day (11am - 4pm) of free recruitment and careers advice, with a focus on early careers. Importantly, jobseekers will have the opportunity to learn about ways to engage in virtual work experience projects.
Claire Angus, who runs the Network's popular Recruitment Gateway jobs board, says: "Although the pandemic has altered the jobs market, there are still many local organisations with interesting vacancies to fill, and we aim to introduce 'exhibiting' companies to potential employees through two webinar sessions on the day.
"Potential employers will have a platform to talk about their company culture, current vacancies and to describe their products and technology.
"We are currently building this event and would like to hear from organisations keen to raise their profile with a view to filling vacancies, either now or in the future. Previous events have attracted hundreds of high calibre candidates, so it is worth your while to get involved."
She adds that the event is designed for anyone looking for work, currently in a role but looking to change career, or just after some pointers on how to progress in a current role.
