The comedy night will be held at Orton Hall Hotel on Friday 26 June and will include after-dinner entertainment from comedian Dean Courtney.
Event sponsor Peterborough CORE and CityFibre are amongst the big names that will be turning out on the night, joined by General and Medical Healthcare, West Anglia Training Association, Belvoir Lettings, XL Scaffolding, Etchells Electrical and Jefferson Sheard Architects.
John Bridge OBE DL, Chief Executive of Peterborough Chamber of Commerce, said: “Talking to local businesses its clear to see that there is a real sense of confidence with the economy. Businesses are now able to rebuild after previous economic lows and have a much more positive outlook for the future.
“This annual event offers a great opportunity for companies to celebrate their recent successes and reward their team for hard work and resilience over a difficult few years.”
Each year the black-tie event raises funds for a chosen charity. This year the comedy night will run a charity raffle in aid of Magpas Helimedix, the emergency medical charity that supports ambulance services within East Anglia.
Should any business wish to donate a charity raffle prize for the comedy night and black tie dinner, please contact Helen Bosett on 01223 209809.
