It Takes a City brings together people and organisations from the across the community in Cambridge and surrounding areas to end rough sleeping due to homelessness. Starting with a Summit in November 2018 the scope and scale of work has increased, and the organisation has had to change as a result.
We are now looking for an experienced Treasurer to join our Board and take us to the next stage.
The new Treasurer needs experience in all financial aspects of charity administration including accounting, Companies House filing, Charity Commission reporting, working with partners, working with donors, etc. Ideally the new Treasurer will have some experience of working in housing, homelessness or social services sectors, but if not, full training will be given.
The new Treasurer will join a very small team but one with a large reach and a big ambition to offer solutions that bring resources from the community together to make permanent change happen.
