Between 5pm-7pm, retailers and traders will join together to offer festive treats including hot food and mulled wine to Christmas shoppers as they buy their gifts and treats. The All Saints Art and Craft Market will also be open and there will be live jazz music by The Searle Street Band and Rcubed (a vocal led quartet) from 5.30pm onwards.
Helen Hames, Marketing and Commercial Manager at Cambridge BID, which is supporting the event, says: “Join us for a fun evening of shopping and support our local retailers. Many shops will be running special offers during the evening, so it’s the perfect opportunity to grab a Christmas bargain whilst also getting you in the mood for Christmas.”
Helen Entwhistle, Assistant Manager from clothing shop Brora on Trinity Street, says: “This is the first year we’ve held the event and we want to show people that Trinity Street is the place to come and do your Christmas shopping. There will be a lovely festive atmosphere for all to enjoy.”
