Judges were looking for creative solutions that deliver dramatic productivity improvements and awarded Domino’s SerialTrac solution first place over 12 other finalists.

Jim Orford, Commercial Programme Manager at Domino, said: “Serialisation has been identified as a key tool in the fight against falsified and counterfeit medicines.  With SerialTrac, manufacturers can now benefit from a flexible, cost-effective turnkey solution that delivers best practice compliance with both existing and emerging regulations.

“We are immensely proud that our work in developing the SerialTrac solution, which combines Domino’s years of experience in product serialisation across multiple industries with our extensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector, has been recognised by the judges to win this prestigious award. It offers a solution for small and niche manufacturers that need to comply with the requirements of the EU Falsified Medicines Directive.”

The annual awards event was held at the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, on the first night of the PPMA Total Show.

Domino Printing Sciences has partnered with systems integrators Olmec UK to manage the integration of the SerialTrac serialisation solution at customer premises, with hosting and support provided by Blue Infinity.
