Keyla de Magalhaes founder and director of The Audiology Expert clinic that diagnoses, manages and treats hearing, balance or ear problems says: “Because of the rapid expansion of our business we have now taken a larger space at The EpiCentre with two treatment rooms and an accompanying reception space.
“This would not have been possible without the understanding and willingness of the centre’s management to help us grow within these four walls. They have helped us with everything, moving to a bigger room upstairs, and helping us to decide on the layout and construction of the two treatment rooms.”
Andrew Bell, Centre Manager of The EpiCentre, says: “It’s great that Keyla and her team are expanding. Giving special attention to our clients needs is exactly the innovation centre’s ethos. We are here to help our clients grow and the flexible relationship that we have with them means they are not tied into long-term lease arrangements. If they want to grow their business it is our job to help them do that, accommodating them, as best we can, in whatever size of space they need at the time and to provide them with business support as they go through the growth journey.”
Magalhaes continues: “We are expanding faster than we expected. We receive lots of recommendations from our patients, their friends and families as well as GPs from across the region. The EpiCentre is in a very prominent position at the gateway to Haverhill so it is easy to find, there is ample parking and an excellent café in the reception and our patients really like the whole experience. We will be holding an open day in the near future for people to come and see the new clinic,” adds Magalhaes.
Magalhaes says that in her native Brazil it is common practice for healthcare specialists to group together under one roof. “It would make sense for there to be a collective of healthcare providers at the centre alongside The Audiology Expert clinic to include the likes of GPs, opticians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dentists and podiatrists. It would make sense to have a multi-disciplinary healthcare hub in a modern attractive setting with ease of parking, and we will be testing the market to see if there is an appetite for such a healthcare hub.”
Bell adds “it would be great to realise this vision, and we would ask healthcare providers to please get in touch if they are interested in relocating to The EpiCentre. In the meantime we wish Kelya and her team all the success in their new growth.”
