Friday's Virtual Jobs and Careers Fair bursts with opportunity for jobseekers

Are you in the job market or facing an uncertain future? If so, you cannot afford to miss Cambridge Network's Virtual Jobs and Careers Fair this Friday (20 November).

The event has grown to include two sessions during the day, one starting at 11am and the second at 12.40pm. 

A packed agenda includes:

  • Introduction by organiser Claire Angus, head of the Network's Recruitment Gateway

  • Make your CV irresistible to your future employer by adding short sharp relevant work experiences: a talk by Skye Willis of Workfinder.

  • Are you interested in a career in teaching? Have a degree and want to find out how to move to a Qualified Teacher Status? Cambridge Partnership, CMAT’s teacher training organisation known as a SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training), explains.

  • Virtual lunch break

  • Remote work experience: Sue Keogh, founder of Sookio, describes how her digital marketing agency team built a week-long boot camp for students

  • What does it take to be a successful apprentice? Combined workshop with Marc Rothera from Anglia Ruskin University and Charlotte Steggall, Early careers & Talent Acquisition Specialist at AVEVA.

  • Virtual coffee break

  • Company presentation from Zifo, a global scientific data and application consulting and service provider specialising in the research, development, manufacturing, and clinical domains.

  • Company presentation from Marshall Centre. Hear about their recruitment process, their current live vacancies (in Aerospace and Defence, Property and Ventures), and how to apply to join their apprenticeship programme.

  • Summary, final Q&A, and close
