The concept was created by Headway Cambridgeshire’s hub clients, who made a basic prototype and found it a useful tool for communicating with each other and exercising their brain in the process. The participants of the game move around the board, answering a variety of questions from the practical: ‘How do you make a cup of tea?’ to the more emotional, ‘What is the one thing today that has made you happy?’ The aim is to make the game suitable for all sorts of groups of people as it has a number of possible applications.
The Mind Your Head Project now wants to take the board game a step further by developing the existing prototype into a marketable product.
Headway says: "We need to get as many questions together as possible and we are asking everyone to contribute questions that they think might be suitable for inclusion."
Headway Cambridgeshire’s hub clients will then decide which questions will be included in the final version of the game.
The game will not only be a useful tool for people who have suffered a brain injury, but will also provide work in the form of a social enterprise which would be part of the rehabilitation process.
So what question would get you thinking?
