By partnering with NHS member trusts like University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust, HEE helps identify, develop and commercialise pioneering innovations created by staff working within the NHS for the benefit of patients, staff and society. HEE currently works with over 26 NHS member trusts in England. The company added Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust (GOSH) as a member earlier this year and are steadily gaining presence throughout the UK.
University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust provides services to 1.9 million people living in Southampton and south Hampshire, plus specialist services such as neurosciences, cardiac services and children's intensive care to more than 3.7 million people in central southern England and the Channel Islands.

HEE has also expanded its NHS Innovation Team with the promotion of Tim Fishlock to Head of Technology Transfer and appointment of Rhanda Tajdeen as Innovation Manager. Both Tim and Rhanda are supporting innovators with intellectual property protection and commercialisation.
