Impact Women’s Network holds special mixed session to celebrate International Men’s Day

Impact Women’s Network is holding a special ‘mixed’ session to celebrate International Men’s Day next week. The focus for this very special ImpactWednesday session –  which is being hosted by Mills & Reeve LLP on November 6 – is the male/female dynamic at work.

The session -  which is entitled: ‘The problem with conflict in the workplace is there’s just not enough of it!’ - will take an in-depth look at why so many of us try to avoid conflict and show how beneficial conflict can actually be.

Sarah Seed, partner, Mills & Reeve LLP will be introducing the session and Dr Rachel Morris (pictured) of Wild Monday, a consultancy which helps to maximise resilience and performance in the workplace, will be running the discussion and workshop.

Impact Women’s Network is a network of female professionals united in raising the public visibility of impactful women and instigating even greater change together, beyond individuals and individual organisations

The group meet the first Wednesday of every month, 9-11am, at various locations in Cambridge - challenging the status quo, breaking glass ceilings, flying off glass cliffs and tackling other issues of relevance. These morning meetings are grounded in women sharing their expertise as well as their experience through Impact Talks, group activities and discussions.

IWN co-founder Faye Holland said: “We are delighted to be running a special mixed event in recognition of International Men’s Day. And we look forward what promises to be a lively session!”
