The Guardtech Group endeavour to ensure all your cleanroom needs are met – from large-scale turnkey facilities to more modest modulars.
But what about those occasions when a Life Sciences, High-Tech Engineering or Healthcare enterprise requires something smaller?
And what about those new businesses, the dynamic start-ups and fledgling companies, that desperately require a clean space to develop their potentially groundbreaking new ideas, but don’t have the time, space or budget to wait for something more substantial?
Isopod Rapid Cleanrooms offer an ideal solution – each pod is constructed from the same high-quality materials as a standard Guardtech Cleanrooms modular cleanroom system.
The pods are free-standing, featuring a robust and cleanable stainless-steel frame, and can be placed on castors for straightforward transit around a host room.
Standard Isopods come in five rapid ‘off-the-shelf’ configurations – 2x3m, 3x3m, 3x4m, 4x4m and 5x3m – but clients are welcome to collaborate with Guardtech Group Design and Installation Engineers to develop a bespoke solution to meet their exact requirements.
Isopods are also ideal for segregating aspects of a clean manufacturing, assembly or packaging process, or placing over equipment such as injection moulding machines, and come in three base model types – Shell (Hardwall), Flexi (Softwall) and Hybrid (Dual Genus).
“It’s a smaller-scale cleanroom that delivers big results,” says Guardtech Group Commercial Director Mark Wheeler. “There are plenty of different cleanroom pods available on the market right now, but none boast the same level of robustness that an Isopod offers.
“Our units utilise the same intellectual property as our more traditional modular cleanroom systems – they’re just constructed with a specially engineered stainless-steel framework.
“It’s a ‘pop-up controlled environment’ for sure – but when it comes to performance, Isopod is on another level.”
Isopod Rapid Cleanrooms allow the Guardtech Group to offer a flexible, cost-effective, rapid cleanroom pod alternative to standard modular builds to their ever-increasing client base.
They’re made from stock held by the Guardtech Group and are available for ‘flat-pack’ delivery – with the option for self-assembly installation.
Combining high-quality construction materials with state-of-the-art cleanroom technology, Isopods are the perfect solution to upgrading production environments, R&D applications, Education or Healthcare facilities in a sustainable, practical and cost-effective way.
Isopods come in the five standard module sizes mentioned earlier, with the option of an additional standard 1 x 1.5m PAL (Personnel Airlock) and 2 x 1.5m MAL (Materials Airlock).
But you can choose to link as many modules as you need in any multi-pod configuration to suit the specific requirements of your application.
“The standard configurations ensure we can deliver a rapid solution,” Wheeler continues. “Having those standard set-ups, ready for quick deployment, just allows us to bypass all the usual tailoring and finessing that we make to any other cleanroom design & build project.
“But the reality is, each business is different, whether they’re a start-up taking their first steps in their industry or a more established enterprise. They all have specific needs and challenges to overcome and what we often find is that, despite our best efforts to streamline the procurement process, a more bespoke solution is required.
“We work with our clients to ensure they get the controlled environment they need – one that delivers on their process requirements now, but also factors in future proofing.
“Whether it’s a Cleanroom Solutions large-scale turnkey project, Guardtech Cleanrooms modular system, Cleancube portable shipping container facility or an Isopod quick-assembly small-scale pod, our attention to detail and high standards remain the same.”
