Learn about a career in the creative and cultural sectors

On Thursday 10th October, Cambridge Junction throws open it’s doors and invites young people aged 16 – 25 to learn about careers in the arts.

The evening will provide an insight into the wide range of job opportunities both on and off stage. This year’s industry evening has a focus on the music industry with sound workshops, music industry workshops and an opportunity to ask a panel of industry professionals questions.

Attendees will be able to find out about entry routes, career paths and individual experiences, participate in a creative workshop, and see a theatre show.

Creative Workshops 

Workshop 1: The Basics of Live Sound
Learn the basics of live sound in a workshop run by Cambridge Junction technicians.

Workshop 2: Working in the Music Industry with Keith Kirk
Keith has worked with has worked with companies such as Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, BMG, Kobalt, the International Copyright Enterprise, (Berlin, Germany), 21st Century Fox/National Geographic, TOVA Music Group, The November Society and PPLUK.

Workshop 3: DJ workshop with DJ Boss Lady
