Marshall Aerospace competes in the Cancer Research ‘Race for Life’

Marshall Aerospace took to the streets of Cambridge on Sunday 1 July, participating in the 2012 Race for Life.

Joining more than 7,500 runners, the Marshall team showed their support to Cancer Research, taking part in the annual women’s 5k race, raising money for this important charity.

The team of 12, consisting of Marshall Aerospace employees, friends and family, raised £932.50 for Cancer Research and was delighted to present a cheque to the charity.

Hollie Armstrong, Marshall Team Captain said:  "We were proud to be running for this important charity and were inspired by all the messages from those who have survived cancer, and family and friends affected.  The support from people and the great festival atmosphere at Jesus Green at the finish was a welcome sight - a great day".

Congratulations to all that took part – a fantastic achievement and a great way to raise money for this important charity.
