It Takes a City (Cambridge) brings together people and organisations from the across the community in Cambridge and surrounding areas to end homelessness due to rough sleeping.
We are now looking for an experienced Treasurer to join our Board.
The new Treasurer will oversee our finance team and be responsible for financial strategy, budgets, forecasting, reporting and compliance. Experience of charity accounting including use of restricted funds and gift aid is a must. They will work with our fund-raising team, signing off major grant applications and keeping in touch with key donors. They will support our operations team, ensuring effective administration of major contracts.
The new Treasurer will have a keen interest in, and ideally some experience in, the housing, homelessness or social services sectors. Knowledge of fund-raising in these areas would be very helpful.
The new Treasurer will join a small team but one with a large reach and a big ambition to offer solutions that bring the community together to make permanent change happen.
