News from Haverhill Research Park

It's all go at Haverhill Research Park, the new home for technology companies on the Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire border.

  • Having exchanged contracts, Taylor Wimpey have submitted a reserved matters application for 150 residential units on 8.25 acres and Marston Inns have done the same for a 180 cover family pub and restaurant on one acre.
  • Plans for an innovation centre, hotel and day nursery are being worked up.
  • ‘Growing Places’ funding has been obtained from New Anglia and Greater Cambridge Greater Peterborough LEP’s via St Edmundsbury Borough Council together with private finance from BLME to pay for implementing the infrastructure.
  • The Breheny Group have been awarded the infrastructure contract and will commence on site before the end of October.
  • Completion of the fully serviced high quality landscaped environment is now set for April 2013.
  • Planning for 450,000 sq ft B1 offices/R&D as well as a wide range of amenities.
  • Interest from Occupiers seeking Freehold or Leasehold purpose built accommodation from 20,000 sq ft upwards invited.

Haverhill Research Park is the new home for technology companies on the Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire border. Cambridge facing and with a Cambridge post code, Haverhill Research Park will bring the Cambridge science park environment to Haverhill.
