Olympic Torch set to fly

Kamal will be joining the cadets and allowing them to hold his Olympic Torch.  Kamal, who was born and raised in West London, is 18 years old and in 2012 formed his own company, ‘The Movements Street Dance Academy’, which sets out to motivate, inspire and educate young people through the means of street dance.  Kamal is also a motivational speaker, who aims to inspire young people to want more from themselves and set their standards higher.

Kamal said: ‘The World is moving forward with time and the traditional route of school, college, university, paid job, retirement, is no longer as secure as it once was and I aim to inspire young people to become more self-sufficient, have more self-belief and achieve their dreams.

Terry Holloway, Group Support Executive for Marshall of Cambridge, who will be flying the Girls Venture Corps Air Cadets said:  ‘Kamal is a remarkable young man, with an unparalleled ability to engage with young people and possesses a unique style, which enables him to deliver serious heart-felt messages about how young people can improve themselves, utilising their skills and abilities, to be successful in all aspects of their life.  It is a delight to be welcoming Kamal to this flying event at Cambridge Airport on 12 June and I look forward to also giving Kamal his first flight in an aeroplane, together with his Olympic Torch.
