Over 120 exhibitors and hundreds of visitors attend Huntingdonshire Business Exhibition

Hundreds of businesses from across Cambridgeshire were brought together to build connections at the Huntingdonshire Business Exhibition yesterday.

Over 120 local businesses took up the opportunity to promote their products and services by exhibiting at the sold out-exhibition held at Wood Green Animal Shelters. Free admission attracted hundreds of visitors from across the region to interact with exhibitors and grow their business network.

Businesses continued making new potentially business enhancing relationships during two sessions of free speed networking which attracted over 35 businesspeople each time.

Speaking after the event John Bridge OBE DL, Chief Executive of Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “It was great to see so many businesses from all different sectors at the exhibition yesterday. Throughout the day there was an unmistakable atmosphere of positivity created by the exhibiting businesses and visitors.

“The opportunity to make new contacts is invaluable for small businesses and enables them to raise brand awareness and start the process of referrals. We are looking forward to starting planning for forthcoming exhibitions in the autumn and hope that businesses from across the region will continue to engage and support the events.

“Both the Cambridgeshire Chambers of Commerce and The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) are thankful for the support of our sponsors, Alconbury Enterprise Campus Software, Borney UK, The Hunts Post, Something Beckons, SME Heroes and Purple Haze.”

The success of the day was made even more apparent as Simon Atack, Managing Director of Ace Tech Training, filled a room with business people eager to hear his unique examination of the psychology of selling which aimed to help businesses improve sales. Plus Paul Jackson, Managing Director of Forward Composites, inspired local businesses by providing tried and tested advice on sustaining a resilient business.
