Right to work checks deadline extended

Temporary COVID-19 right to work measures have been extended until 5 April 2022, instead of ending on 31 August 2021 as originally announced by the government.

The  measures were introduced at the beginning of the pandemic and allow employees to send a scan of their right to work document to a prospective employer for virtual checking.
