Sable&Hawkes win competitive tender to support pan-European communications initiative.

Sable&Hawkes have been appointed by four organisations based at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL) to deliver a communications strategy and ongoing multi-channel brand identity, design, news and social media marketing services.

Design and marketing support and asset creation for digital and social media.

Our client is a collective of four organisations (LC3, CWSC, GBDI, a new NGO) based at EPFL, with the shared mission of promoting environmental solutions for the future of the construction industry, by advancing research, education, and technology transfer.

Nls Havelka, Director of Policy and Outreach at the Centre for Worldwide Sustainable Construction said of the appointment: "We are thrilled to partner with Sable&Hawkes to help tackle one of the biggest challenges of our time by bringing the science and innovation of sustainable construction into the conversation with the public, industry, and policy-makers."

A key part of that process will be our ability to promote collaboration and cooperation among all stakeholders along the sustainable construction value chain as well as drive a wider public discourse and information programme to industry and governments around the topic of sustainable construction.

After winning a competitive tender process, Sable&Hawkes have been commissioned to fulfil this role.

The new partnering agreement will mean Sable&Hawkes working closely with EPFL communication experts and scientists to draw up a strategy for long, medium and short-term communications for the group.

Our objectives will be:

  1. To optimise the communication processes of these four closely connected entities.
  2. To work in collaboration with EPFL communication experts and scientists to draw up a strategy for long, medium and short-term communications for the four organisations.
  3. To regularly produce, publish and promote multi-media information and social media marketing, across all four organisations on the part of the agency.

Taking this approach will allow the team create direct paths of communication on a daily basis for our ongoing research, education and technology transfer initiatives, leading to wider and more effective dissemination, understanding and engagement.

It is intended that the strategic planning process will happen in April and May and the provision of design, content and communications support will begin as soon as possible.
