“Since the first lockdown last year, we have been delivering webinars and virtual training with the help of our expert members,” explains Louise Rushworth, Cambridge Network’s events manager. “We’re aware that by now, people may be suffering from isolation, lockdown fatigue or cabin fever, so we are ramping up our efforts to provide a variety of ways to help them stay connected, stimulated and motivated through this difficult time.”
Starting today (Tuesday) with a session called Covid-kicking Communications (11am-12pm), online events over the next few weeks tackle nutrition, physical fitness and ways to support your team through new ways of working. They complement a series of webinars the Network hosted over the past few months, all of which are available on Cambridge Network’s YouTube channel.
More in-depth sessions to help you to develop resilience at work or to build effective line management skills when working remotely are provided by the Network’s Learning Collaboration, which offers a range of training courses to help individuals – and those who manage them – to cope with some of the issues we all face as the pandemic continues. A recent addition to the learning portfolio is bite-sized e-learning. An annual passport for this gives you a choice of more than 160 (15 minute) learning modules, 25 of which cover topics associated with Workplace Wellbeing - see list below.
Finally, for those who face uncertainty about their jobs or who are looking for a change in career, the Network’s Recruitment Gateway YouTube playlist can help you to hone your interview skills and take control of your career. The next Virtual Jobs & Careers Fair is on Tuesday 23 February, and free to all jobseekers.
