Bekah supports the Cambridge Network team specialising in digital marketing and graphic design. Bekah also supports the Hauser Forum tenants by co-running reception.
Claire is an experienced recruitment consultant, working with local companies large and small and focussed on executive search, graduate and technical recruiting. She uses this knowledge, background and contacts to manage the Recruitment Gateway and organise jobs fairs for Network members and jobseekers. Claire's focus, understanding and appreciation of the local jobs market means she is very well placed to support employers and candidates through the whole recruitment process.
Claire Ruskin BSc CEng FIET
Claire Ruskin has long been part of the Cambridge Phenomenon, starting in chip design as an electronics engineer at Cambridge Consultants and then delivering increasingly ambitious technical product developments for a range of clients around the world. She has extensive technical and practical knowledge and experience with developing products, people and companies. Claire travels worldwide, when needed, to talk about what makes Cambridge such a special place and how it has created so many technologies and companies.
Claire was a Board Director of both Cambridge Consultants and Arthur D Little, then moved to PA Consulting to combine the art of management consulting with continued technical developments. Claire helped form start-ups including CSR [sold to Samsung Electronics and Qualcomm] and Alphamosaic [sold to Broadcom] and was on the Council of Advisors for Redgate Software. She is an Executive Board member of the Greater Cambridge Partnership, trying to help Cambridge grow in a good way, with housing, access and skills.
John joined the Cambridge Network in September 2019 from Johnson Matthey Plc. During his time at Johnson Matthey he held a number of leadership positions, including general management, sales and operations, both overseas and in the UK. In 2011 he was asked to lead the Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership as its inaugural Chair. During his five-year tenure he led the LEP to great success, capitalising on its scientific assets and its unique position within the Golden Triangle.
He is passionate about how the convergence of technologies is influencing the innovation landscape and the role the Cambridge Network has in catalysing interactions between members.
Louise manages our events programme, which includes online events, regular networking meetings with guest speakers as well as bespoke events for members or visitors to Cambridge. Louise has excellent connections with Cambridge's business community and knowledge of the regional economy.
Lucy supports the Cambridge Network team specialising in data analysis and reporting. Lucy also supports the Hauser Forum tenants by co-running reception.
Ruth supports the running of the Recruitment Gateway and regular recruitment events, as well as creating and distributing the weekly jobs letter. Ruth's career thus far has been focused on supporting people and companies so she is ideally placed to work with Network members and jobseekers, helping both achieve their goals.
Sally is an experienced marketer who has worked across various sectors, more recently focusing on marketing communications within the not-for-profit sector. Sally is responsible for developing and optimising marketing strategies that maximise the impact of the Cambridge Network brand and those of our members.
Sara is responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of Cambridge Network, ensuring companies get the most out of their membership. As well as managing activities for events, recruitment and accounts, Sara also oversees our extensive professional learning services and training courses designed to support members to retain staff, grow and succeed.
