The Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves will present her first Budget on Wednesday 30 October 2024 following the summer's general election which saw the Labour party win a landslide majority with 411 seats. The Budget will bring into life the new Labour government’s key manifesto pledges. There will also be an update from the Office for Budget Responsibility on the latest state of the country’s finances.
Join Harry Warren and Coral Jones from Deloitte who will provide you with their insights into, and discuss the implications of the Autumn Budget’s tax announcements, including:
- The taxation of individuals including any changes to Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and tax relief on pensions;
- Tax measures affecting businesses including any changes to R&D reliefs and capital allowance; and
- Q&A.

Coral Jones, Associate Director: Coral is an Associate Director in Cambridge with over 13 years of experience in tax and accounting, working with family owned and high-growth businesses across a number of industries. Harry Warren, Director: Harry is a Tax Director within the Deloitte private client team and leads the Entrepreneurial advisory team in the region.
