Widening your pool of promoters and profile-raisers to win clients and contracts [a Cambridge Network + Bidwells event)

Cambridge Network Event

Content marketing forms an integral part of many businesses’ marketing strategies. But often, there is only a handful of senior people who have the understanding, confidence and insight to utilise your marketing efforts in publicly raising their own profile, and that of the company. How do you widen the pool of ‘go-to’ people in your company who are good promoters of your brand?

Bidwells, a property consultancy headquartered in Cambridge, created and delivered an internal campaign to do just that - all at zero extra cost to the business.

At this session you will hear from Bidwells’ Head of Business Development, Lianne Griffiths, on how their BD & Marketing team created, and rolled-out, a next generation development programme to upskill 19 future leaders in generating new work; how to confidently utilise and talk about Bidwells’ research papers and marketing collateral; improve their networking skills, profile-raising, public speaking and blog-writing; targeting and retaining clients, and how to nurture new relationships.

In its’ first 10 months the participants of the “Generate Programme” delivered 17 new appointments, worth £395,500 in fees and have a combined pipeline worth over £1.37m.

Cambridge Network would like thank Bidwells for hosting and suggesting this topic for this event.  Come and meet your peers in marketing, HR and Business Development and see if elements of this initiative could be useful for your organisation.
