The VPD-HLRI is a collaboration between the University of Cambridge and Royal Papworth Hospital with an aim to improve cardiovascular and lung health for everyone, no matter where they live.
Your Role in Advancing Medical Science
As our Building Services Supervisor, you'll play a crucial role in supporting life-changing research by:
- Orchestrating seamless building operations for the entire Institute.
- Ensuring our state-of-the-art laboratories and Clinical Research Facility run like clockwork.
- Collaborating with academia, industry, and healthcare partners to drive innovation.
- Support the Building Services Manager in delivering a proactive and responsive technical service.

- Lead with confidence and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Troubleshoot complex building systems with surgical precision.
- Inspire and guide our Building Services team.

- Oversee technical operations and step up as deputy Building Services Manager.
- Champion health and safety compliance through risk assessments and safe practices.
- Tackle major works and installations hands-on.
