Translational Research Facilitator (Part Time, Fixed Term)

Would you like to be instrumental in the development of new products and approaches to treatment or prevention of human disease and illness emanating from the University of Cambridge and associated hospitals?

These may include vaccines, drugs, personalised medicine, medical devices as well as gene and cell therapies.

The role holder will co-ordinate the MRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) and will provide support to translational health research activities across the University. They will be based in the Office for Translational Research (OTR) and have close collaboration with the Cambridge Research Office Impact and Knowledge Exchange Team. The role holder's activities will promote wider and more effective engagement with the translational research agenda through effective communication and coordinate funding calls and reporting of 'on the ground' impact/knowledge transfer activities, which enable researchers to progress their project along the pipeline of translation of benefit to patients.

We are seeking a proactive, data savvy and solution-focussed individual to take up this role in the team.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 years in the first instance.
