Cambridge MP delighted to see Cambridge declared country’s premier tech location

Research out this week has declared Cambridge the UK’s leading regional tech city, beating cities such as Manchester and Edinburgh to take the top spot on a new power tech league revealed by the UK’s Digital Economy Council.

Responding to the news, Cambridge MP Daniel Zeichner, who chairs the Data Analytics parliamentary group, said “I am delighted to see Cambridge recognised as the UK’s premier tech location. We will only retain this status if we continue to attract the best people from across the world to our city. That means being open and welcoming, doing much more to make housing genuinely affordable to people, ensuring schools are of the highest standard and protecting the local environment that makes Cambridge so attractive to people.”
